Poetry

An Ode to his excellency

Woe to you, a pretentious and incompetent arse!

You who hail your own triumph,

And shove it down everyone’s throat.

You are no copycat,

For when hurdles arise you hide like no one else;

You tell us irksome tales of how novel you are.

You make up rules no mortals can flout

But repeal them when your insurgents strike.

Oh, how you enlighten the mortal race with confusion!
